廣定大司徒仁波切為海地地震受難者祈福
2010年1月15日，慈尊廣定大司徒巴召集所有在八蚌智慧林的僧尼眾及信眾至八蚌智慧林主寺大殿，要求他們以最真誠的心為海地地震受難者祈福。
八蚌智慧林在一項供養儀式中以數以千計的酥油燈供養回向在2010年1月12日發生在海地的地震災害受難者。
慈尊廣定大司徒巴要求大家，應該祈願這類自然災害和人為的災難，永遠都不會在這個世界和其他任何宇宙再發生。我們應該祈願，在海地這次災難中數以千計喪失生命的人能得到平和，而那些還在等待救援和受困在瓦礫中的人們，都能平安獲救，並和他們的家人及親友團聚。
