Many people who follow Tantrayāna hold the view that they have found their gurus and followed them to study the Dharma, so their liberation from Samsara is solely dependent on their gurus. They do not exert themselves to practice, rahter they seem to think that their teachers can just toss them upto the pure land. No doubt, it is feasible in this way, but it depends on the solid faith of the disciples. Only when the disciples hold this kind of very solid confidence in their gurus can this kind of result be available.

很多學密法的人覺得：我找到了上師，我跟著上師一起學佛，以後我的解脫都靠上師了！自己不修法，好像上師可以把他扔到淨土去一樣。當然這樣也是可以的，但這要有穩固的信心，必須有非常穩固的信心才可以做到。
