Growing highland barley necessitates burying good barley seeds in the earth, and also requires yak dung, sunlight and water. Once these conditions are satisfied at the same time, good highland barley will grow. If the barley seeds have already turned bad, the barley won’t grow no matter how long we wait. This also applies to practice. If we haven’t adjusted our inner hearts and practice dharma on the surface and in the form, no matter how long and how hard we practice, we cannot achieve.

種青稞，需要將好的青稞種子埋在地裡，還要有牛糞、陽光和水分，同時具備這些條件，才能長出好青稞。如果青稞種子壞了，時間再長也長不出來。修行也一樣，如果沒有調整好內心，只是表面上、形式上修法，時間再長、再努力也無法成就。
